HICKORY, NC – September 11, 2024 – The accounting and consulting firm of Davidson, Holland, Whitesell & Co., PLLC (“DHW”) is pleased to announce its expansion with Rink & Robinson, PLLC (“R&R”), an accounting and consulting firm also located in Hickory, NC, joining its ranks.
R&R was founded in 1956 and is one of the oldest locally-owned and operated accounting firms in Western North Carolina. The firm’s long-standing history and dedication to exceptional client service are driving forces behind its continued success.

Effective October 1, 2024, Michael Rink will be retiring from R&R and the firm’s clients will be transitioned to DHW. R&R clients can expect the same levels of personalized service and support. “Except for a change of name and an enhanced menu of services, it will be business as usual.” Rink said. “We are confident in DHW’s ability to pick up where R&R leaves off without a hitch.”
